Welcome, welcome. I'm so glad you stopped by. Whether you're browsing around for ideas or are interested in booking a session. Your time is valued. It's important. And I'm so glad you spent some of it here. I'll leave you with this - one of my favorites messages from Mother Teresa.
Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.
School teacher by day, natural light portrait photographer by night. Southwestern Nebraska is home. Available for travel. Golden hour is my jam. Check out my Instagram @rachel.ann.photography to see what I've been up to recently!
In April of 2017, I married my high school sweetheart, Catlin, and now call Wilsonville, Nebraska home. Our precious baby boy, Jett James made his arrival this past year on October 8, 2018 at 9:26 in the morning. Cat & I are both elementary school teachers in our alma maters, which happen to be rival schools. We leave that at school, though. ; ) We love hiking, traveling, and most importantly - spending time at home with our family and our rambunctious, overbearing, but totally lovable dog, Halo.
My hubs and I both grew up with three other siblings. 2 boys. 2 girls in each fam. I always thought that was kinda cool. We're so dang lucky to raise our little munchkin near both his grandparents and within a quick drive to most of his cousins.
Family's pretty special. Take some time to photograph it. 'Cause in the blink of an eye, they'll grow up right in front of you. My friend, the days are long, but the years are short. Keep those sacred memories alive.
Congratulations! Weddings are one of my FAVES and I do them with one of my faves! Meet Rebecca. My cousin. My bestie. My light-chasin', party plannin', photography partner-in-crime. Rebecca and I not only share genes, but we share a strong love for photography. More importantly - natural light, people-centered photography. We shoot weddings exclusively with each other.
Like peanut butter & jelly, bread & butter, ice cream & root beer - we're two peas in a pod.
“Rachel does such an outstanding job capturing memories. She takes the time to not only know the family, but to care about the family! When working with the little ones she is truly amazing. I could not be happier with our forever photographer.”
